Who needs an SIE tutor?

Everyone told you the SIE was the easy one. Then you failed it — or your practice scores say you’re about to. It’s only easy if you already speak the language. If you don’t come from finance, options and munis and settlement rules are a foreign vocabulary, and vocabulary is exactly what a tutor fixes fastest.

Teacher, nurse, salesperson, veteran — you got the job offer, and now there’s an exam between you and the desk. You don’t need to become a Wall Street lifer in six weeks. You need someone to tell you what actually matters and what to skip.

How it works
Sessions are over Zoom with screen sharing, anywhere in the country. Your tutor uses my materials and my method — real examples, trap-spotting, no reading the manual to you. Between sessions, you can text your tutor when you’re stuck. Every tutor on my team teaches it the way I teach it, or they don’t teach for me.

SIE Tutoring — Frequently Asked Questions
How much does an SIE tutor cost?
Team tutoring runs $105–$135 an hour, depending on which of my tutors fits your exam and schedule — no contracts, no packages, no minimums. Most SIE students need 2–4 hours total. If you want Ken personally, his rate is $250 an hour or $140 for a half hour.
Is the SIE exam hard?
About one in four first-time takers fails it. It’s a breadth exam — a little bit of everything in the securities business — which makes it deceptively easy for finance people and genuinely hard for everyone else. If your background isn’t markets, respect it.
Do I really need a tutor for the SIE?
If your practice scores are comfortably above 80, no — save your money and use the free videos. If you’ve failed once, or you’re stuck in the 60s with a deadline, a few targeted hours are cheaper than a retake fee and another 30-day wait.
Is SIE tutoring online?
Yes — Zoom with screen sharing, nationwide. In-person is available in Manhattan.
