I have spent 35 years in this business, twenty of them on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange, and I tutor these exams for a living. I wrote every question here myself, and every one comes with a written explanation of why the right answer is right and why the trap is tempting. That second part is what most free practice questions skip, and it is the part that actually moves your score.

Series 7 Practice Exam — 125 Questions

Series 65 Practice Exam — 130 Questions

Series 7 Suitability — 25 Questions
Suitability is the largest scored area on the Series 7 and the one where strong students lose the most points, because every answer looks defensible. Twenty-five questions, each with the reasoning spelled out.
Series 7 Bonds and Debt Securities — 30 Questions
Bonds cost candidates points in two ways: the yield ladder inverts between discount and premium, and the municipal rules reward reading the stem carefully. Thirty questions across yields and duration, Treasuries and agencies, municipals, corporate features, and ratings.
Series 7 Options — 40 Questions
Options is the single biggest reason people fail the Series 7. Forty questions across breakevens and profit and loss, covered calls, protective puts, spreads, straddles, collars and index options, plus the suitability judgements that decide which strategy fits which customer. The maths escalates — where you stop being sure is the diagnosis.
How to use these exams
Take a full-length exam first, cold, before you feel ready. Candidates who wait until they feel prepared throw away the diagnostic. A bad first score tells you where the next three weeks go. A good one tells you to book the test.
Read the explanation on every question you got right by guessing. A lucky guess and a confident right answer score the same here. They do not score the same on exam day.
Use the timer at least once. Running out of time is a different failure than not knowing the material, and you cannot diagnose it untimed.
Retake it. The questions shuffle on every load, so a second pass is not a memory test.
